- A former New Jerseyite, Lori followed the directive to "Go, West!" before the turn of the century. She had gotten married, lost her mother to cancer, and had a baby girl (who is now a preschooler), before Lori realized that she didn't know what the hell she was doing. She is still trying to figure that thing called work-life balance. "One Little Girl Grows Up" is her journey as a mother who lost her own mother. She hopes you will bear with her.
